An All-Faith Music Festival

Dear Jackson-based churches,
      On August 27th, 2005 there will be a faith-focused music festival held on the grounds of Marino’s Pizza 1980 W. Parnall Road, in Jackson. This event is brought to you by Slipped Disc Productions, based in Jackson Michigan, and we would love to have your church participate. Marino’s Pizza has agreed to let us use the land adjacent to their restaurant and they will provide pizza and soda pop at a reasonable price. This venue has been chosen with the intent of being a neutral location, which can be used to share your faith’s beliefs, goals and accomplishments with attendees. We have noticed that when any particular church has attempted to host such a festival, that for the most part, only folks of the same denomination attend it. We chose not to hold it at any specific church premises for this reason.

Please help spread the word by printing the above and distributing it in your area

      Our vision is to have each church in the community represented at this event. Your group can set up a display, pass out flyers, sell baked goods, etc. as a fundraiser for your church. It's a good chance to reach new people. The main stage will feature faith-based music and related acts from all over the Jackson County area. If you have a praise team, youth choir, or some other talented musical group, this is a great chance to share that gift. If you would like to participate on stage, please complete an application (follow the link below to a printer-friendly form). At this early date, there is still plenty of time but we only have a limited number of slots available, so let us know as soon as possible.
      The booth space is available for only $50 for the entire day. (This will help cover expenses). You must supply your own canopy, table, and chairs. The spaces are approximately 10 x 20, we have plenty of room, but if you need a spot much bigger than that, you should reserve 2 spaces.
There will be door prizes and awards will be given to the most or best-decorated booths, so get creative and show your skills.
      This celebration will be from 10am – 10pm. There is no admission fee for attendees.
      We expect this to be 12 hours of family oriented good times and a real community blessing of God given talent, socializing and sharing of the Lord's love. We need your participation to make this event a success. Please share this information with your congregation and mark your calendars for Aug 27th.
