2005 brought Eaton Rapids' first annual Blues Festival. At a time when many cities were eliminating festivals, Eaton Rapids was and remains a town with a great vision. They realize the value of such an event and are partnering with us in hopes that this event will eventually become Michigan's biggest Blues Festival. Festivals, in general, are a great way to bring new commerce to a city as well as raise awareness of a city's intrinsic attractions of which Eaton Rapids is blessed with many. The event was a great success... right up until the thunder storm sent everyone scattering about halfway through the festival. Everyone has been looking forward to this year's festival which has been extended to a two day event with camping available! We will again, be asking local businesses to contribute either through direct donations or by taking out ad space in the festival program to be be distributed to all concert goers. These programs are most often kept as souvenirs and so the ads have an extended lifespan and circulation. If you can help at any level, we need you. Just go back a page and click on sponsorship opportunities. If you have any questions please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will reply promptly.
This event is wholeheartedly endorsed by the City of Eaton Rapids. Please help to make it a huge success. This is an exciting opportunity for Eaton Rapids, its citizens and any who opperate a business within its confines, so get on board early. See you soon and make plans to be there August 11th and 12th, 2006.
